Overview
Striving for that gold medal, top three finish, or personal best is what tournament play is all about, and we cannot wait to see you on the field with us. The Lancaster Archery Academy is holding our fifth annual Summer Smack Down Star FITA tournament on September 7th. You can register online above by clicking the red 'Reserve' button. All archers will be required to have a current USA Archery Membership. WA/USA Archery Rules and Dress Code will be in effect.
The tournament will be held at the Lancaster Archery Academy's Archery Park, which is located off the rear parking lot of the Lancaster Archery Supply Pro Shop, 2195-A Old Philadelphia Pike, Lancaster, PA 17602.
Please note that if you register to shoot on a single spot, you will be sharing that target face with another archer!
Qualification Shooting Times:
- Recurve and Barebow - Saturday, September 7, 2024: 9:00AM
- Compound - Saturday, September 7, 2024: 1:00PM
Registration Fees:
- $40.00 per archer
- Late fee of an additional $10.00 begins August 28, 2024
- Registration closes Wednesday, September 4, 2024

Important Details
- Availability is first come, first serve. Pre-registration is needed. No walk-ins the day of event
- Registration deadline is September 4, 2024
- Equipment inspection begins 30-45 minutes prior to your selected shooting time: **Please note WA/USA Archery Equipment Rules: 23/64" or 9.3mm max arrow diameter, etc.
- Rcherz electronic registration, scoring, and results for family and friends
- All archers will choose during registration whether to shoot a 60cm vertical three spot, or a 60cm single-spot target face
- Tournament is a FITA Indoor 600 25M Round (60 arrows), event to be held OUTDOORS, registered as a STAR FITA with USAA for World/USA Record Qualification
- According to World Archery Rule 5.4.2.1 "Indoor Rounds shot under outdoor conditions shall also be valid for recognition of World Records."
- No unofficial practice is available
- Qualification Awards to follow at the conclusion of each qualifier line time
- Concessions will be available onsite, proceeds benefiting the Lancaster JOAD Team
